You may be invited to experiment with active therapeutic processes, such as: nervous system mapping, somatic awareness, therapeutic journaling, writing a letters, mindfulness, behaviour records, expressive processes, or even something as simple as taking a walk.
There are many interesting and illuminating resources and therapeutic exercises that you might find useful and many people enjoy...
Forward Focus
Reflect, Plan, and Progress
When we have got a lot of 'what was in the way' out of the way' our work may lean toward the question 'what next'.
Drawing on therapeutic coaching and positive psychology, I can support you to identify, claim and move towards the inner and outer changes that you really want for yourself.
Together we can reflect on progress, refine and set goals, intentions, visions, plans and next steps.
The Bright Side of Therapy
You might imagine that sessions are always 'heavy' or 'difficult' but that isn't always the case. As you might expect, counselling does offer a space to explore what is difficult and troubling, your traumas, fears, and worries; however it is also a space to celebrate your wins, recognise your strengths, and nurture your talents.
As well as the possibility of releasing tears, there is also the possibility of laughter, and uplifting connection.
